*** Part-Time Translator (4 days/ week, University) ***
*** Job Description ***
• Japanese => English translation: official documents/ student notices/ internal documents/ homepage information/ exam information/ meeting minutes/ notices for foreign professors etc
• Internet research: overseas educational institutes and practices
Compiling and updating translation word lists
*** Requirements ***
• Native English speaker with excellent writing skills
• Advanced Japanese skills (min N1)
Professional translation experience (freelance experience welcome)
*** Working Conditions ***
= Contract Type: Haken
= Start Date: ASAP
= Contract length: Long Term (3 month renewable contracts)
= Working Days: 4 days/week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday/ negotiable depending on staff preferences)
= Working Hours: 09:30-17:00* (1 hour break) *Negotiable
== Estimated Overtime: 0 hrs/month
= Location: Fujisawa-City, Kanagawa
• 15 mins by bus from Shonandai station (Odakyu Enoshima/ Soutetsu/ Yokohama Blue Lines) / 25 mins by bus from Tsujido station (JR Tokaido/ Shonan-Shinjuku Lines)
Note: Travel expenses are not paid. Be sure to check your commute and expenses carefully before applying.
