Description

We are currently looking for quality candidates who can start from April to be an assistant to the English teachers in Yamamoto Town, Miyagi public schools. Holding a BA/BS degree and having some Japanese ability is preferable but not required, as long as the applicant is a native English speaker with a working visa or the potential to be sponsored, has some experience, and is great with kids aged 6 through 12. The successful applicant should live in or be willing to commute to the area.

The Yamamoto positions require work in 4 elementary schools.

The first day is in the beginning of April, going through March of 2016, working all school scheduled days.

Working days are basically Monday through Thursday.(4days a week)

Salary is based on a daily rate. The full yearly salary based on a specific number of days in the schedule is provided individually, and may vary slightly if there are a few days differing in individual school schedules.

Assistance to find housing is available. This position would require driving and assistance to arrange a rental car is also available.

All new ALTs must obtain initial orientation and go through a basic medical check up, or provide a clean bill of health from a recent doctor visit.
