Description

Work Hours:
- Monday - Fridays from 9:00 to 17:30 for no-class week.
- Wednesday – Fridays from 9:00 to 17:30 and Saturdays & Sundays from 10:30 to 19:00 for class week.

(EMBA classes are offered on Saturdays and Sundays over two weekends per month)

Report to:
- Director of Executive MBA Program

Salary & Benefits:

- Commensurate with experience.
- Eleven days paid vacation in the first year, increasing to 20 days after 6 years of employment, plus 5 paid “personal and sick days” each year.
- In addition, approximately 2 weeks university-wide break over Christmas/New Year.
- Japanese social insurance and pension, commuting allowance, and tuition benefits for Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) programs.

Overview of Position:

Program Coordinator for Temple EMBA program will assist with the overall needs of multinational adult business students (managers and executives) and faculty. He/she will provide support for EMBA marketing; will help prepare, arrange and organize on- and off-campus functions.

Primary responsibilities:

- Support EMBA marketing including digital media
- Assist faculty and students with academic matters and general matters
- Provide administrative support for faculty course preparation
- Organize and conduct guest lectures including Special Lecture Series and other special events for undergraduate business program and EMBA program
- Assist EMBA administration including invoicing, managing class rosters and classroom booking, and purchasing.
- Help at recruiting events as well as student/alumni events
- Clean up after classes

Qualifications & Experiences:

- Bilingual in English (native or Eiken Grade 1 level) and Japanese (native or JLPT 1)
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills in Japanese and English
- At least three years work experience in marketing and corporate communications preferred
- Good organizational and people skills
- Excellent computer skills (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / E-mail)
- Flexible and takes initiative
- Professional appearance, friendly, student/customer-focused attitude
