Private Japanese kindergarten in Funabashi area is currently searching for a full time, native
English teacher to be begin working as soon as possible as part of a growing school and after school program.
Visa sponsorship available for the right candidate.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-Native English
-Conversational Japanese is a plus with a willingness to continue learning.
-Ability to read hiragana and katakana is also a plus.
-A bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
-Must love children and open to experiencing a Japanese work environment.
-Must currently reside in Japan.
-Must be flexible to sudden schedule changes.
SALARY:
¥260,000~ starting depending on experience. Annual raises are included every year and can be discussed in more detail.

HOURS:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, occasional Saturdays for special events.
**Special events include school events such as Sports Festival, Music Festival, and other activities.

VACATION TIME:
National Holidays.
Around three weeks off in August.
Two weeks between December and January.
About a week at the end of March.

POSITION DETAILS: The position is Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays for events,
8:30am to 5:30pm schedule and involves riding a scheduled bus every morning. The teacher will do English classes to groups of 10 - 30 kids of 1 and 6 years of age. Afternoon classes will be taught to groups of 10-20 kids of 3 to 11 years of age and classes are divided by age group. The teacher will have an assistant for the younger children but for the older children ages 5 and up the teacher will be responsible for handling the classroom.
After school kindergarten classes will meet every day, making this a wonderful opportunity to see your students' English flourish.
