【Work conditions】
・Work days: 5 day /week (Saturday + 4 weekdays)
・Work hours: 35 hr/week (7 hours/day. Basic hours - between 10:00-19:00 )

【Job Description】
Minerva Intelligence, a Benesse group company, is rapidly expanding throughout the greater metropolitan Tokyo area
(Tokyo, Chiba, Kanagawa, Saitama, & Gunma).
In the next few months, we will be opening new school locations for young learners.
(The majority of the lessons will focus on teaching children from 2-12 years old.)

This is an opportunity to educate enthusiastic young learners alongside
one of the premier educational companies in Japan here with us at Minerva (Benesse group company.)

Minerva Intelligence is seeking energetic teachers who are ready to make an impact on English learning services for children.
Our goal is to educate students in becoming skilled English communicators.
This involves the acquisition of real life English along with certain non-linguistic skills such as the use of body language, critical thinking, and proactive speaking/listening. We aim to foster social skills, confidence, and cultural awareness through our lessons.

Teachers will be responsible for providing lessons together with a Japanese assistant. Based on the lesson plans prepared for you,
you will prepare and provide lessons (both regular lessons and trial lessons for students considering enrollment).
You will also communicate with students and parents before and after class.

(About the class)
・Lesson:50 min lesson + 10 min preparation/break time.
・Class size: 5-7 students(*2-3ry old class:5,all other classes:7)
・Students age:*2-12 years old (*there may be a baby course in some locations)
・Staff allocation: Native teacher x1, Japanese assistant* x1/class
*Japanese staff will assist you with class preparation, lesson operation, and student support
(ex. handling crying kids, attendance check, homework check…etc)

(Available Resources)
・In achieving the goals mentioned above, we have developed a curriculum/ lesson plan
which were tested with real teachers and students for precision.
These lesson plans were co-developed by Berlitz and Benesse (Benesse group company)to ensure that the activities are age appropriate.
The lesson plan gives you a description on the available resources (materials), and specific directions on how to operate each activity.
(1 lesson plan for each lesson/course)
・In each classroom, there will be wall charts (posters),toys, craft materials ,CDs, textbooks,
and other relevant resources for teachers to utilize in the lesson.
・Teaching guidelines, activity idea packs are also available for teachers to use as reference.

【Training】
・Training and teaching support programs are available for our teachers.
These programs were co-developed by Berlitz and Benesse (Benesse group company) to support teachers during the initial phase of work.
・Teachers will also receive additional training and support during the year for further improvement and opportunities.
