Destination Asia Japan has opened a Kyoto office, and we are looking for the right people to be part of this new team.
We are currently looking for an Operations Assistant. You will be responsible for liaising with assisting the management team with creating travel itineraries for clients, as well as ensuring excellent service delivery to clients and ensure smooth running of all operations on-site in Kyoto.
This is an exciting and challenging position that covers a wide range of ground - from operating high end FIT tours, to 300 person Incentive Tours and Corporate Meetings for Fortune 500 companies.
1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Obtaining quotations and pricing from suppliers, including hotels, guides, transportation companies and restaurants
• Assisting with guide assignment and vehicle bookings.
• Assisting with managing all bookings with suppliers related to the execution of a client itinerary program.
• Work with suppliers to ensure all operational arrangements are made and executed in accordance with the standards of Destination Asia.
• Ensure that the quality of services provided by suppliers and their employees are up to the standards of Destination Asia.
• Performing administration duties in the Kyoto office
• Maintain good relationship with key suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships.
2. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 1 years of work experience in tourism or similar industry, or job role
Required Skills
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent problem solving skill
- Good customer service skill
