POSITION: English & Art Teacher (Part-Time)
You may apply as either an English teacher or an Art teacher. Both roles will include participation in field trips and outdoor camps.
Candidates with experience in both areas will be especially valued.
DUTIES
[English Teacher]
Lead fun, engaging English classes for children aged 3–10
Plan original, hands-on activities using storytelling, games, and creative projects
Foster children’s communication and social-emotional skills through language play
Collaborate with co-teachers to enhance curriculum and lesson content
Assist with class preparation and clean-up
[Art Teacher]
Design and teach art classes in English using various materials (painting, woodwork, pottery, nature-based art, etc.)
Encourage children’s self-expression through creative projects
Collaborate with other staff to create interdisciplinary experiences
Support class set-up and clean-up as needed
ABOUT OUR CLASSES
Our curriculum combines English instruction with diverse art and nature-based activities. If you enjoy working outdoors, you’ll love our regular field trips and upcoming seasonal camps. We’re looking for teachers who bring energy, creativity, and a love for adventure!
WORK SCHEDULE
Days: 1–3 days per week
Hours: 4–6 hours per day (fixed)
Workdays: Monday to Sunday, including weekends and public holidays
Start Date: August 1st, 2025
Employment Type: Part-Time (アルバイト)
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1 year of experience teaching English or Art to children (preferred)
Experience designing original curriculum (preferred)
Strong enthusiasm for creative, hands-on education
Fluent English (native or equivalent level)
Basic Japanese skills are a plus
COMPENSATION
Hourly Wage: ¥1,500 – ¥2,500 (based on experience)
Contract: 6-month renewable contract
