A private elementary school is urgently looking for a full-time teacher to finish off the school year. This is a progressive Japanese private school that advocates 21st century learning skills, project-based learning, and integrating ICT into learning. Although this is a short term position, there is a possibility to renew for the next school year.

=Elementary School Immersion Teacher in Osaka Pref. (North Area)=
Contract Type: Dispatch (haken)
Contract Period: April 1, 2025 to March 31st 2026
*Please indicate a possible starting date
Monthly Remuneration: from 300,000yen to 350,000yen (before tax)+ transportation *Depending on qualification and experience
Working Days: Mon - Fri + some weekends
Hours: 8:15-17:15
Holidays: National holidays, New Year's holiday, and 10days paid holiday
Insurance: Social insurance and employment insurance

=Work Duties=
-Teaching up to 20 lessons/week (all subjects immersion)
-Lesson preparation
-Curriculum and material development
-Attending meetings
-Attending school events and ceremonies (including religious events and ceremonies)
-Test making and grading
-Journal checking
-Eating lunch with students
-Supervising during cleaning time
-School commute/arrival supervision
-Home room duties

=Qualification Requirements=
* Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
* Experience teaching in Japanese schools
* Ability to teach multiple subjects
* Ability to create engaging lessons at the elementary level
* Must currently reside in Japan and have a valid visa
