About the role
This role is an amazing opportunity to work in the Country Pavilion, on site, depending on the pavilion assignment. In this position you will play an essential role in contributing to the successful set up, implementation and maintenance of AV, General maintenance of the Venue . You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop your skills in sound equipment management, installation and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the setup and dismantling of sound equipment for events.
Help maintain and repair sound equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
Be proactive in learning the technical aspects of sound systems and equipment.
Support the team in logistics and inventory management of sound equipment.
Participate in site surveys and preparation activities for upcoming events.
Support the maintenance of the venue
Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols during all operations.
Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate efficiently with event organizers and clients.
Provide technical support during events, under the guidance of senior technicians.
AV knowledge
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; further education in sound engineering or related fields is a plus.
Strong interest in the event industry and eagerness to learn.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and national holiday event schedules.
Physical ability to lift and transport equipment.

Expo 2025-OSAKA: April 13th, 2025 – Oct 13th, 2025
Availability: Mid March 2025 - Mid October 2025
Pavilion public opening hours: On shift and based on the Japanese working law (9:30am to 9pm) -
