You will be teaching physical education to students in 2-year-old classes to the 5-year-old classes at non-registered childcare facilities that have been certified by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as a provider of childcare and early years education.
Our group is an authorized International Baccalaureate school group, and we provide childcare in two languages: Japanese and English.
In our approach to education, we believe that it is very important to maintain a balance between ‘mind, technique and body’, and in addition to providing first-class international and language education, we also actively incorporate music and physical education classes to help the children grow up healthy in body and mind.
This position will be responsible for the physical education team at the nursery school division, which has a total of 6 campuses. The main duties are as follows.
・Implementation of physical education classes (those who can conduct classes in English are welcome)
・Development of physical education classes in the International Baccalaureate curriculum framework
・Safety management of the physical education environment
・Coordination with the principal and curriculum coordinator of each campus
・Supports her/his line manager by advancing the Programme in terms of our Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan.
・Maintains positive and constructive working relationships with all school community members.
・Regularly evaluates all students achievement against the school’s assessment policy
・Analyses data to inform planning and pedagogy.
・Engages in regular collaborative professional learning and planning with ‘Core Team’ members
・Effectively delivers the Programme’s operations and administration relevant to student learning and applicable accreditation and authorisation standards.
・Conducts pastoral care to support the overall achievement and welfare of students in the Programme.
・Ensures regular, sustained, meaningful communication through timely sharing of information and concerns.
・Maintains all documentation and communication only through the designated school-wide platforms.
・Attends to scheduled duties and other tasks when requested by the Campus Head and/or Coordinators.
After joining the company, you will receive training in physical education methods from professional teachers who have trained Olympic medalists as well as on the IB PYP framework by programme coordinators.

Salary conditions:
① 300,000 yen per month (Lead Teacher)
② 250,000 yen per month or more (Assistant Teacher)
Essential conditions for application:
① Lead Teacher
・Full-time employee
・Must hold some kind of qualification for working in physical education
(e.g. Elementary School Teacher Type 1 or 2, Health and Physical Education Teacher Qualification, etc.)
・Must have at least 3 years' experience as a teacher of physical education or a sports subject
・Must like children and be enthusiastic about education
