A high academic high school with an emphasis on global studies is seeking a part-time teacher for the subject of Social Studies over the course of 3 months (January-March 2025) to teach returnee students. Contract period: January 1, 2025 - March 31, 2025
* From April 2025, there is a possibility to be hired directly by the school as a full-time teacher
Location: Western Tokyo (Tokyu Denen Toshin line)
Pay/month: 180,000yen - 210,000yen (before tax) + transportation
*Depending on academic background and relevant teaching experience
Working days: Monday – Wednesday (3 days a week)
Working hours: 8:20 - 17:20
Lessons: Social Studies (Up to 12 lessons/week)

[Duties]
・Preparation, execution, and grading of social studies classes for returnees
・Development of curriculum and teaching materials
・Pre-class meetings
・Creation, proofreading, grading, and evaluation of regular exams
・Homeroom teacher duties
・Participation in and guidance for school events (including school information sessions)
・Other duties related to school education

[Qualification Requirements]
* Bachelor's degree or higher (Social studies related major is strongly preferred)
* At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience at secondary school
* Capable of working with the school's curriculum
* Currently reside in Japan and have a valid visa
