An international elementary school is urgently looking for an elementary school art and craft teacher who can in particular teach wood work to children. This is a 2 day a week part time position, with the days being negotiable. Contract Type: Part-time
Contract Period: Immediate to May 31, 2025 (Possible re-contracting from Aug directly by the school)

Hourly rate: 4,000yen(before tax) + transportation
Working days: 2 days/week (Please indicate your preferred working days)
Working hours: 8:15-15:20
Class: 8-10 classes/week (wood craft)
Class Size: About 8

Duties:
-Lesson preparation
-Material development
-Attending meetings
-Testing and grading

* Expertise and experience in wood craft (must)
* Proven track record in teaching wood craft (must)
* Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or higher (preferable)
* Teaching license from home country (preferable)
* Experience teaching in local elementary and/or international schools (preferable)
* Classroom management skills to ensure the safety of students
* Currently reside in Japan with a valid visa
