British Culture Academy is currently looking for teachers to start working and training immediately.

〇Working Area
Our company dispatches our teachers to different kindergartens and nursery schools throughout Saitama, Chiba, Tochigi, Ibaraki and the Tokyo area.
Also, Yokohama and Kawasaki area.
〇Morning Lessons
While at the kindergarten, you conduct 20 minute lessons with a Japanese teacher. You can teach up to 6 lessons, depending on the kindergarten. The lessons are separated between the ages of 3 to 6.
Our morning lessons consists of teaching the alphabet, phonics, numbers, vocabulary and daily conversation. We also use gestures and sing in our lessons. We have special parties for Halloween and Christmas, typically dress up in costumes for those.
While at a nursery school, you conduct English lessons and play with the kids using English, assist the nursery school teacher as much as possible.
〇Afternoon Lessons
Our afternoon lessons are 50 minutes and are more in depth than our morning lessons.
You would be paired with a Japanese teacher in the afternoon lesson also.
The afternoon lessons are separated by age groups, kindergarten and elementary aged students.
Our afternoon lessons consist of teaching the alphabet, phonics, numbers, vocabulary, reading, role play and writing. We also teach with textbooks and workbooks.
The minimum number of kids for afternoon lessons is 5 and the maximum is 15.
〇Examples of our daily work for the position include
・teaching and preparing lessons according to the curriculum
・creating fun and exciting experiences for the children by coming up with your own ideas, as well as using the lesson plan
〇An example of the positions
・Part-time
9:00am - 12:00pm or 2:00pm - 6:00pm
・Full-time
9:00am - 12:00pm and 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Actual hours may vary, based on the day and how many classes are being taught.
〇Requirements
* Must speak English (~Native level)
* Be willing to work with kids
* Live in Saitama(ex. Omiya, Kawaguchi), Tokyo, Yokohama or Kawasaki.
* Able to keep the kids interested in learning English
* Able to commit to a 1 year contract

Step2. Observe our lessons
Step3. Sign a contract
Step4. Training with Japanese staff and experienced English teachers
(Full training and support is provided throughout the year.)
