Quality Control Supervisor
TransVision Co. Ltd. is currently looking for a QC Supervisor to join our project team initially for 3 to 6 months. Work experience in either POL/Fuel Tanks, or Solar Power Plants, and/or Biomass power plants is preferred. Related EPC project experience may be acceptable. The successful candidate will be assigned in the project site to support the overseeing of contractors and vendors, provide troubleshooting and confirm compliance with engineering design and drawings, responsible for the day-to-day supervision of multi-discipline construction site.
Responsibilities:
• Assists with the development of and ensures that all site safety and environmental requirements and procedures are properly implemented, consistently observed and corrective actions are initiated when applicable
• Work closely with construction personnel to monitor construction operation quality
• Coordinate with contractors, and vendors to supervise the installation and build of plant while actively managing schedules to comply with administrative and safety guidelines
• Review the work progress on a daily basis, compare to overall project schedule
• Assist in checking the design compared with the actual site condition
• Support material deliveries inspection at project sites
• Document issues
• Collect commissioning and punch list data
• Prepare daily and weekly reports
• Ensure QC documentation is completed accurately and delivered to the project team
• Participate in daily and weekly on-site toolbox and vendor meetings.
Qualification:
• Work experience in solar power plants, biomass plants, POL/fuel tanks, construction, or EPC project sites in similar or related industry
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar field
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Self-driven, highly motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Bilingual (English and Japanese) communication skills (nice to have)
• With Japanese Driver’s License (nice to have)
• EM 385-1-1 / OSHA 30 / CQMC Certified (nice to have)
• Currently based in Japan
• With valid working visa or permitted to work
• Possible to work immediately.
