Description

ECC Corporate Relations Division is currently seeking part-time English teachers for various locations in Kansai for our university and/or jr. high school programs, 2025 - 2026 season.

Get in early and get great schedules!

There also can be some regular or substitute work before April.


GENERAL INFORMATION:

Courses will start in the spring of 2025. There are a variety of courses available with schedules to fit yours. We need people on board early as we are arranging schedules to start in April.


PAYMENT:

3,530 yen per hour plus a 500 yen per hour taught completion bonus. Daily stipends may also be available (1,000 yen).

SCHEDULING:

Teachers can make their own schedules based on availability and company needs. You can do one class per week or multiple classes over multiple days.

Other than the samples below please see our website for a clearer image of scheduling.

***Example Schedules***
Kyoto: Tuesday or Friday x 30 weeks; 2-3 classes (9:00- 12:00 or 14:30)
Osaka Uptown: Thursday x 30 weeks; 2-3 classes (11:00 or 13:00-17:00)
Osaka North: Tuesday or Friday x 30 weeks; 2-3 classes (9:00-12:00 or 14:30)
Osaka East: Friday x 30 weeks; 2-4 classes (9:00-1700)
Amagasaki: Monday thru Friday x 30 weeks; 1-3 classes per day-- 1 day is ok (9:00-16:30)
Amagasaki: Monday thru Friday x 30 weeks; 1 class per day -- 1 day is ok (9:00 - 10:30)
Kobe: Monday thru Friday x 30 weeks; 1-2 class per day –--1 day is ok (9:00-17:00)

Various other options are also available including half year programs (15 weeks).

TRAINING:

ECC provides paid core training, as well as follow-up training sessions. We also offer regular support and guidance regarding lesson planning and problem solving in the classroom. We will provide textbooks, teacher's books, and a curriculum for the programs being taught. Specific training is also provided for our programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties include teaching large groups of university or jr. high school students

- Conduct communicative English classes
- Plan lessons
- Class reporting
- Actively communicate with supervisors on site and at our office
- Positive participation in observations, and trainings

STATUS OF RESIDENCE (VISA):

You must have a status that enables you to be employed in Japan. We might be able to help with status renewal when needed.
