We teach students from preschool (age 4) and up through elementary school, as well as teens and adults. We also teach at a variety of kindergartens and nursery school in the area. We are a sister school of Pacific Language School in Tokyo, and use the PLS system to teach our kids English, while using other materials for teens and adults.

We are looking for a creative, friendly team player who has a love for kids, a passion for teaching English and learning, and who lives in the Tsukuba area. You must love teaching kids, be a self started to learn the PLS teaching system, and to share ideas to contribute to our school to help it grow. If you already have training and experience teaching the PLS system, that's even better.

Sky English School will provide training both in-house and at PLS in Tokyo. Duties besides teaching English include lesson planning, record keeping, tracking student progress, attending meetings, on-going training and professional development, helping with special events, and helping to keep the school clean.

In your cover letter, please include what you enjoy about teaching, your experience teaching English to kids in Japan, and what you believe makes you a good teacher.

Applicants who pass screening will be contacted by email to set up an initial interview at our school in Tsukuba. After our intial interview, applicants may be invited to a second interview and class observation.

Successful applicants will start training as soon as possible.
