Part-Time English Teacher at a Private Kindergarten in Shinjuku Ward (expired)

WING Inc. is currently seeking a passionate English teacher for a part-time position at a private kindergarten in Shinjuku Ward. If you enjoy working with young children and have a positive, open-minded attitude, we encourage you to apply!

Contract Period
October 2024 to March 2025
(The contract is renewable from April 2025 based on performance.)

Location & Compensation
Nearest Stations: Ochiai Station (Tozai Line, next to Takadanobaba Station), Nakai Station (Oedo Line), or Higashi Nakano Station (JR Sobu Line)

Compensation: ¥8,000 for 2 hours, plus transportation expenses

Work Schedule
Thursday and Friday
Note: There are also a few Mondays throughout the year.

Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Includes two lessons and preparation time; each class is either 40 or 50 minutes long.)

You will be teaching two English lessons to children aged 4 to 5 years old, with a maximum of 20 students per class. Designated teaching materials are provided, so no lesson planning outside of teaching hours is required—only preparation before the lessons.

Qualifications
• Native English speaker
• Basic Japanese skills or ability to hold basic conversations in Japanese is a PLUS
• Can sing, dance, and engage children with energy
• Prior experience teaching in a preschool, nursery, or kindergarten in Japan
• Must complete the contract from October 2024 to March 2025
• Able to manage large classes
• Friendly, open-minded, and punctual
• Willing to adapt to specific teaching methods through training
• Must hold a valid work visa or permission to work in Japan
