【About Us】

DEJAPAN (ディージャパン) is a proxy shopping service offered by JABLE (ジェイブル) Corporation.
We handle every step of the process: purchasing products sought by overseas users interested in Japanese items, followed by receiving, inspecting, packing, and shipping them to their destinations.

We provide a one-stop service that solves the problems of language, payment, delivery, and customer support for customers from abroad who want access to Japanese products without having to understand Japanese or visit Japan.

Some of our most frequently ordered items include "otaku" and "kawaii" goods like anime figures, trading cards, and plush dolls, as well as fashion goods like second hand luxury brand items and lolita clothing!

【Job Responsibilities】

Your responsibilities will include:
 ● Responding to customer inquiries via email and social media in English
 ● Solving order issues with other teams and/or the seller in Japanese
 ● Processing claims with shipping companies (ex. parcel damage, loss)
 ● Performing tasks related to site management and service flow
 ● Handling payment operations, such as issuing invoice and managing transactions
 ● Creating periodic content including social media posts, blog articles, and/or newsletters
 ● Collaborating with other team members to execute promotional strategies and campaigns

【Job Requirements】

 ● English: Native level
 ● Japanese: Business level (approximately N2 or above)
 ● PC skills: Basic operations (typing, Word, Excel, GSuite, etc.)
 ● Must be able to commute to our office in Osaka
 ● Must be able to start in August or September of 2024


【Desirable/Beneficial Skills】

 ● Previous experience in customer service
 ● Experience in e-commerce or logistics industry
 ● Strong communication skills, including fluency in both English and Japanese
 ● Critical thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills
 ● Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
 ● Attention to detail and accuracy

【Employment Details】

 ● Employment Type: Permanent employee (Full Time)
   *Converted from contract employee after completing 6 months of employment
 ● Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
   *Flextime system available after probationary period
 ● Lunch Break: 1 hour
 ● Average Overtime: Less than 10 hours per month


【Available Positions】

① Weekdays only (Monday-Friday)
 ● Monthly Salary: 220,000 JPY or more
   *Determined based on previous experience and ability
 ● Remote work is not available for this position

② 2-3 Weekdays + Weekends/Holidays
 ● Monthly Salary: 240,000 JPY or more
   *Determined based on previous experience and ability
 ● Weekdays only during the training period (approximately 1-2 months)
 ● Mandatory remote work on weekends and holiday shifts
 ● Compensatory days off are provided for holiday shifts


【Probationary Period】

 ● 2 months
 ● Salary during the probationary period is 85% of the full monthly salary
 ● No social insurance during the probationary period


【Benefits & Welfare】

 ● Transportation expenses: Up to 25,000 JPY per month
 ● Full social insurance (after the probationary period)
 ● More than 120 days off per year
 ● Paid Time Off: 10 days per year, granted after 6 months of employment
 ● Possible salary increase (once a year, based on internal evaluation)
 ● Year-end bonus available
 ● Annual paid leave (based on Japanese labor law standards)
 ● Overtime pay
 ● Work visa sponsorship available

【Selection Process】

Although the DEJAPAN team speaks and understands English fluently, JABLE’s upper management team is not fluent in English. To ensure clear communication and understanding for all parties, all hiring communications will be conducted in Japanese. Please be aware that we require your responses to be in Japanese as well.
