We are looking for a healthy, energetic, gentle Native English speaker to teach young children ages 2 to 6 years old, starting March 31, 2025.

Sun's is a small international preschool situated in Kamakura, one of Japan's most popular and enjoyable small cities. Sun's is proud to offer a laid-back, yet calmly disciplined atmosphere for all students and teachers to enjoy. Students learn to engage in advanced levels of educational skills via Sun's S.P.I.C.E. methodology and curriculum as explained in its website.
Sun’s International Preschool is looking for teachers who:

• Love working with children
• Creatively approach teaching
• Are flexible and work well as part of an international team

[Requirements]
• Must currently reside in Japan
• Must have a valid working visa
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Previous experience working at a preschool, after-school program, or with young
children

[Duties]
• Teaching children (up to 10 kids with 2 assistant teachers) ages 2 to 6
• Teaching children ages 3 to 12 in small groups (After School)
• Expanding upon the school's curriculum with original ideas and activities
• Developing curriculum for after school programs
• Providing a safe and fun learning environment

[Working Hours/Days]
• Monday-Friday: 9:00-18:00, with breaks between classes
• Saturday: 9:00-12:00 (every other week)
• Sunday/National holidays off

[Benefits and Compensation]

• Salary: 250,000-300,000/month (Unemployment insurance)
• Paid Holidays: Spring-2 weeks, Summer-3 weeks, Winter-2 weeks
• Transportation expenses
