Join Our Team as an Event Organizer in Ibaraki!
Tired of Routine Teaching Roles? If you're looking for something beyond the typical teaching job at dispatch companies or English schools, the Japan Sports Promotional Institute (JSPI) has an exciting opportunity waiting for you! We're seeking a passionate and driven educator to join our team as an Event Organizer at our public facilities in Ibaraki prefecture.
What Makes This Role Different?Forget reading from a textbook – this role lets you leave your mark on our innovative English programs. Our English education initiative launched in 2021 at the Tsukuba branch and has since expanded to facilities in Tokyo and northern Ibaraki. Now, we need a creative, hands-on individual to help shape the future of English learning in our facilities.
Your Role:As part of our team, you'll actively influence and grow our English programs while organizing and supporting various English events throughout the Kanto region. This is more than a teaching job – it's a chance to engage with communities and inspire children to love the English language.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Japanese staff with daily facility operations
Greet and engage with customers of all ages
Provide customer support (reception, inquiries, etc.)
Participate in facility maintenance and management tasks
Promote JSPI-organized events and foster enthusiasm for English
Organize and lead English events at our new branch and other branches several times a year
Team and Work Environment:As a member of the English Department at JSPI, we collaborate across facilities multiple times a year to assist with events and activities. Our team stays connected through a LINE group, where support is always available if needed.
What We're Looking For:
While teaching experience is appreciated, it is not required. We are looking for someone who loves working with children and can create fun, engaging events.
A passion for both indoor and outdoor activities
Proficiency in Japanese (daily communication required)
Flexibility to work shifts (8-hour shifts between 8:30 AM and 9:00 PM, 40 hours per week with a 1-hour lunch break)
Perks and Benefits:
Fixed monthly salary
10 days of paid leave after 6 months
Relocation assistance
Visa sponsorship
Application Process:There are 2-3 interviews conducted via Zoom. During the interviews, you will be asked questions in both English and Japanese about yourself, your goals, aspirations, sports history, hobbies, and work experience.
Ready to Take the Next Step?If you're excited about this unique opportunity, we'd love to hear from you! Please send your resume and cover letter to apply.
At JSPI, we believe in fostering community engagement through sports, education, and cultural exchange.
