Description

Oak Tree International School

Oak Tree is a bright and lively international school located 5 minutes from Nagoya Station.
We are currently seeking friendly, outgoing, organized, and creative native English-speaking teachers who have a natural ability with young children.

This position begins in April 2025, with the possibility of a training period in March.


Responsibilities:

∙Ensuring the safety of all students.
∙Preparing and delivering engaging lessons and activities based on our provided curriculum.
∙Participating in school events, field trips, meetings, and training.
∙Assisting with childcare and the general maintenance of the school.


Compensation:

∙Monthly salary up to 280,000 yen, depending on shift hours, experience, and qualifications.
∙Benefits (depending on working hours) include health insurance, pension contributions, unemployment insurance, and a transportation subsidy.
∙Paid holidays during Golden Week, Obon, Silver Week, and the Christmas/Winter season.


Working Hours:

∙Up to 40 hours per week, with optional extra hours available.
∙Shifts are tailored to individual schedules.
∙Hours of Operation: 08:00 - 20:30, Monday - Friday
∙Hours of Operation: 09:00 - 16:00, Saturday


Qualifications:

∙A valid visa is preferred.
∙A love for young children.
∙Outgoing and confident personality.
∙Excellent organizational and time management skills.
∙Ability to plan activities and events.
∙Native-level English ability.
∙Computer literacy.
∙Team player with a positive attitude.
∙Ability to collaborate with teaching staff and administrators.
∙Desire to foster a positive student experience.
∙Self-motivation and initiative.


Prior teaching experience is preferred; however, we provide a supportive, team-oriented environment with on-the-job training, feedback, guidance, and support.
