■Job Description
•Editing and overseeing the English quality of a wide variety of PR/marketing documents in the automotive field, including press releases, FAQs, speeches, presentations and videos
•Composing and editing content (including photos and videos) for websites and
social media outlets
•External communications activities, including answering inquiries, planning and handling interviews, coordinating and handling events
•Japanese to English translation of external communications materials
•Supporting non-Japanese staff in meetings, including some translation and interpretation

Work as part of a small, innovative, international team in a fast-paced and interesting Japanese office environment in Tokyo, producing and editing external communications material for one of the world's leading automotive companies.

■Qualifications
-Qualifications or experience
•Excellent spoken/written English, particularly wording, nuance and clarity, with a clear and concise writing style
•Advanced Japanese skills equivalent to JLPT Level 1 or above and experience working in a Japanese business environment
•Professional Japanese to English translation experience
•Qualification in or experience working with graphics, photo-editing and/or video-editing software
•Experience writing English marketing copy preferred
•Experience in media industry / working with media preferred

•Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Japanese in a business
environment
•Attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure, multi-task, prioritize and plan, and
work efficiently to tight deadlines
•Outgoing personality

■Desirable skills
•Familiarity with or knowledge of the automotive industry / automotive technology
•IT skills and interest in media, new media and social media

■Working Hours
9:00-17:45 (includes 45-minute break)
