1. Job Overview:
Part-time Science and Mathematics Instructor.
Successful applicants will teach Science and Mathematics in English to high school students and/or to junior high school students.

Workplace: Ritsumeikan Uji Junior and Senior High School
Start Date: April 1st, 2015

2. Qualification Requirements:
1)Able to start April 1st, 2015
2)Completed undergraduate studies and has relevant academic and/or professional experience (e.g. B.A., M.A., and teaching experience in Science and Mathematics) by the end of March 31st, 2015.
3)Holds Japanese school teaching certification (preferred, but the school can assist the successful candidate in obtaining the certification)
4)Holds qualification in teaching English (such as TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA) or teaching certification in home country (preferred)

1) Current CV (A4 size designated with ID photo attached)
2) Cover letter stating your reason for application. (A4 size)
3) Copies of all university diplomas, both undergraduate and graduate.
4) Academic transcripts from the undergraduate and graduate school.
5) Copies of all teaching certificates (e.g. TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.), as well as a copy of your home country teaching certification, if you have one.
6) A copy of the front and back sides of your alien registration card or resident card.

7) A self-addressed reply envelop (size:12cm×23.5cm) to which a 242 yen stamp has been affixed. (Domestic residents only)

4. Condition and Remuneration:
Part-time Instructor:
The contract will run for one (1) year, from April 1st, 2015 to March 31st, 2016.
The contract can be renewed upon mutual agreement between employer and employee.
Monthly remuneration for a class that meets once per week for 50 minutes
More than 3 years teaching experience: 11,800 yen
Less than 3 years: 11,000 yen
Allowance: Transportation allowance, etc
Summer Bonus: monthly remuneration x 0.8 yen
Winter Bounus: (monthly remuneration x 1.2) + 5,000 yen

The contract is administered in accordance with the various regulations of the Ritsumeikan Educational Corporation.
