About

The Embassy of Belgium in Japan represents the Kingdom of Belgium in Japan. The Embassy of Belgium in Japan also includes offices of the regional agencies in charge of export/import promotion and attraction of foreign investment. These offices are: Flanders Investment and Trade, AWEX (Wallonia Export Promotion Agency) and Brussels Invest & Export. The Commercial and Economic Section of the Embassy works in close coordination with these 3 offices, as well as with the Delegation of the European Union in Japan.

The Embassy of Belgium in Japan has been located in Nibancho since 1928. The Embassy building was entirely reconstructed in 2009, and is located on "Belgium Square,” a plaza paved in Belgian blue stone.
