Company Description

Lingo Network is a rapidly growing company based in Japan - the consulting division of Lingo currently seeks talented Experienced GWT/JQuery Web application Analyst/Developer to fill in demand for continuous improvement and development of a several newly created systems within Ericsson Japan's IT department. The systems in question requires not only functional implementation, but also usability engineering, emphasizing on ease of use and beauty. Accepted candidate will work with Ericsson Japan's Operational Excellence team, who is responsible for ensuring that Ericsson continually meet the needs of their customers and internal stakeholders through ongoing improvement in both service delivery capability and efficiency and will work as Lingo Consultant within Ericsson Japan office in Yokohama.

Responsibility

- develop and maintain several web application, some of which are designed to be used within IPads,
- exposure to all aspect of SDLC
- negotiate & consult with end user representative

Requirement:

- Strong character with exceptional talent who puts strong drive on delivery
- Good skill balance of both application development, as well as usability / aesthetic design
- Good communication skill,
English a must, with preference for proficiency in either Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, or both
- At least 1 years experience in operational support of large scale system
- At least 3 years experience in web application development
- A bachelors degree with honours or equivalent (1st class preferred) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong software engineering skills/background and understanding of software design principles.
- Strong technical analysis & design skill

note: Candidates who are already in Japan and can start immediately will be prioritized

Technical requirement
- Strong understanding of web technology: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (JQuery)
- Experience working with GWT 2.5
- Experience building web application for iPad Safari browser
- Strong Java web development skills: spring, mybatis/hiberate, experience with web services (rpc, SOAP or message-based/JMS), gradle
- Experience developing in Linux and working with bash shells
- Operating System: Linux Centos OS
